- Do not submit false, misleading, abusive or fraudulent information.

Bookings and Appointments
Booking requests are subject to workshop availability and confirmation by PMW Automotive.
- Please provide accurate contact details, vehicle details, mileage and symptoms where relevant.
- If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give as much notice as possible.
- Late arrivals may affect what can be completed during the appointment.
- PMW Automotive may refuse or rearrange work where a vehicle is unsafe, inaccessible or unsuitable for the requested service.
Estimates, Pricing and Extra Work
Prices, estimates and repair advice are based on the information available at the time. Fault finding can reveal additional work that was not visible during the initial enquiry.
- Estimates are not fixed quotations unless clearly confirmed in writing.
- Diagnostic time may be chargeable even if a repair is not completed.
- Additional work will normally be explained and approved before it is carried out.
- Parts prices and availability can change because of supplier stock, vehicle specification or manufacturer changes.
Payment
Payment is due when work is completed and before the vehicle is released, unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods may include card, bank transfer or other agreed methods.
- Vehicles, keys or records may be retained until cleared payment is received where lawful.
- Unpaid invoices may lead to recovery action and reasonable recovery costs.
- Any finance, staged payment or third-party payment arrangement must be agreed before work begins.
Parts, Warranty and Wear Items
Warranty terms depend on the work carried out, the parts used and the cause of any later issue.
- Warranty generally covers defects in supplied parts or workmanship, not unrelated faults.
- Wear and tear, misuse, accident damage, contamination and customer-supplied parts may be excluded.
- Warranty claims may require inspection by PMW Automotive before any remedy is agreed.
- Manufacturer or supplier warranty conditions may also apply to parts.
MOT Testing and Repairs
MOT outcomes are based on the vehicle condition at the time of test and the rules that apply on that date.
- A pass does not mean the vehicle will remain roadworthy until the next test.
- A failure may require repairs before the vehicle can be used legally on the road.
- Retest availability and fees depend on MOT rules, timing and the work required.
- You remain responsible for vehicle insurance, tax and roadworthiness.
Vehicle Storage and Personal Items
PMW Automotive takes reasonable care of vehicles while they are at the workshop, but customers should remove valuables and personal items before leaving a vehicle.
- Please remove cash, electronics, documents and other valuables.
- Tell us about locking issues, alarms, immobilisers or special start procedures.
- Vehicles left after completion may be subject to storage arrangements or charges if collection is delayed.
- PMW Automotive is not responsible for items left in vehicles unless required by law.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that, PMW Automotive is not responsible for indirect losses, pre-existing faults or issues outside the work agreed.
- Customers should tell us about known faults, modifications or previous repair attempts.
- Some faults are intermittent and may require further investigation if symptoms change or return.
- Advice is based on available information and vehicle condition at the time of inspection.
- You are responsible for ensuring your vehicle is insured and legally permitted to be used.
Complaints and Disputes
If something is not right, please contact PMW Automotive as soon as possible so the issue can be reviewed.
- Give the team a clear description of the issue and the relevant invoice or booking details.
- We may need to inspect the vehicle before agreeing a remedy.
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Disputes should be handled through direct resolution first where possible.
